Innovation Platform Foundation at the FinTech Poland Meeting on the Presidential Veto of the Crypto-Assets Market Act

The Innovation Platform Foundation would like to express its sincere appreciation for the invitation to participate in a meeting organized and hosted by FinTech Poland, represented by Piotr Brewiński.

The meeting was convened in response to the President of the Republic of Poland’s veto of the Polish Crypto-Assets Market Act. Acting as an independent platform for dialogue, FinTech Poland brought together representatives of institutions and organizations interested in the responsible development of the crypto-assets market in Poland, with a strong focus on legal certainty, public trust, security, and compliance with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.

Among the participants were representatives of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, PKO Bank Polski, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), NASK, and other key stakeholders. The Innovation Platform Foundation was represented by dr Jan Wittlin, Chairman of the Foundation Council.

The substantive and constructive approach of all participants enabled a valuable exchange of views, the identification of key challenges, and the development of proposals for further discussion and analysis. Legal, banking, academic, technology, investment, regulatory, governmental, and non-governmental communities, alongside practitioners and individual investors, had the opportunity to present their perspectives and contribute to an important dialogue on the future of the Polish crypto-assets market.

FinTech Poland – thank you for creating a space for meaningful and expert discussion.
