There is one continent in the world, which will change so dynamically over the next decades that it will be a completely different place by 2050.
This continent is Africa. Its population will boom and its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will grow even quicker. This will lead to unprecedented tensions, as well as big opportunities. Just some of the priority aspects of this development will be migration, fight for talent, foreign investment, flourishing outsourcing.
The Innovation Platform Foundation is committed to support African Nations and their European partners in this development in a number of ways. Within the Africa Growth and Offshoring Program we work on a number of initiatives, incl.:
- linking investors and innovators across Europe and Africa to enable faster growth and support international investment
- promoting nearshoring and outsourcing operations between Europe, Middle East and Africa regions
- promoting of tech education at African schools and universities
- working on migration-related programs to care for affected people and communities in Africa and Europe
- working on initiatives to offer African people inspiring opportunities on the ground in African countries
The program involves governments, social partners and corporations to support achievement of the goals and leverage the opportunities.
